In Vivo Efficacy: Dermatologic Evaluation Of Slimming And Anti Cellulite Effect Of DermaCore®

The aim of the study is to assess the efficacy of DermaCore® in a slimming and anti cellulite treatment related to the improvement of the signs of gynoid lipodystropy by means of objective and subjective techniques.

Constraints Of The Study

• No intensive or UVA exposure during the test period.
• No application of make-up, no change on hygiene and/or make up habits.
• Neither anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory treatment nor treatment with vit.A or derivatives.

• No weight variations above 5% over the previous 3 months.
• Not be performing treatments for weight loss.

Clinical Evaluation By Experts

The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of the product to reduce the signs of gynoid lipodystrophy under expert evaluation.

Methodology

The efficacy assessment was conducted under expert control after 56 days of the cosmetic use, using an evaluation scale of efficacy grading from 1 to 5.

Results

After 56 days of use, the product was considered efficient in the reduction of cellulite, in the reduction of orange peel appearance and in the reduction of ripples in the skin. It was observed a reduction of localized fat and noticed a swelling reduction. The product also improved the appearance of the skin for 95% of the subjects and left the skin soft and moisturized for 100% of the subjects.

Comparing statistically the grades obtained in the evaluation at the initial day with grades obtained after 56 days, for each attribute assessed, it was obtained the following results: there was a significant improvement (P <0.05) on skin conditions after 56 days of the product use when compared to the initial day of use in the following attributes: reduction of orange peel appearance, firmer skin, swelling reduction, volume reduction, reduction of localized fat and improvement of the appearance of the skin.

MULTIFACTOR IMPROVEMENT IN MODERATE AND SEVERE PHATOLOGY:

The reduction obtained by the experts (D56) from baseline conditions was significant in cellulite intensity (-16%), padded aspect (-9%) and sagging skin (-12%), among other primary concerns on the cellulite pathology.
